Family and Christianity
土曜の夜に大学の友達と食事に行きました。
仲が良い人はプロテスタントの人が多く、飲みに行けないのが残念なのですが笑
I ate dinner with friends of university on Saturday. I am sorry not to be able to drink because almost people are Protestant 🤣
まず、待ち合わせ場所に行ったら、友達の親もいたのです。そして、そのお母さんとも一緒にご飯を食べました。
We ate dinner with mother of my friends.
日本の大学の友達と親込みでご飯行くことはないなと思い、僕にとって新鮮でした！
I don’t eat out with friends and family, so it was fresh for me.
比較的田舎街であるということもあると思いますが、ここではかなり家族の繋がりが強いなと感じています。
毎週日曜日はみな、それぞれの教会に行きます。おそらくほとんどの人が家族と同じ教会に行くため、友達と家族が一緒にいることは自然なことなんだなと思いました。
I think people who live in here has strong relationships with family. I think it is because almost people are Christian and both friends and family share time together every week.
さらにブラジルはみなフレンドリーで、かなりウェルカム感があるというのも理由の1つだと思います！
Further, It is because Brazilian is very friendly for everyone!!
また、1つブラジルの良い文化が知れた気がします。
I can know the good culture of Brazil.
(都会の方だと日本と同じように上京している人も多いため、都会と田舎でも差があると思います。)
また、少し関連して幸福についても考えてみました。
I am also thinking of happiness related to religions.
日本は仏教や神道があるものの、大多数は宗教とあまり関わりのない生活をしていると思います。そのため、世界の人々を客観視することができ、視野を広げることができるため、僕は日本に生まれてよかったなと思いました。しかし、宗教が生活の一部にある人びとは、その家族やコミュニティの団結が強くなったり、神を信じることで心の拠り所があったりすることから、安心感という幸せが僕たち日本人よりも強いのかなと思いました。
Japan has Buddhism and Shinto, but almost people believe that they don't have religion. Therefore I feel happiness to view overseas people objectively and be able to broad my opinion. On the other hand, almost oversees people believe religion. Therefore, the relationship of family or community become strong, and can get a peace of mind by believing god. I think they feel more happiness than Japanese.
もちろん、僕はキリスト教を信じているわけではないため、どっちがいいかは分かりません。
ただ、どちらも良い点があるからこそ、国家レベルで宗教を信じる人、信じない人が現代にいることは確かだと思いました。
Of course, I don't know whick is better. However it is sure that both of them have a good point, because there are people who believe in religion and people who do not believe in the national unit.
ちなみに、気づいたら数週間前からホストファーザーとGoogle翻訳を使わないで会話するようになってました！
というか、Google翻訳をあまり使わせてくれない笑
まだ、友達同士の会話等はさっぱり聞き取れませんが、徐々にポルトガル語も上達しているのかなと思います！
ただ、かなりまだレベルは低いことに変わりはありません笑
Recently I don’t use Google translator with host father! So I feel my improvements off Português.
However my level is so low...
I will continue to do my best!
